Car Sales Manager

We are looking for a results-driven Sales Manager to lead our car sales team. In this role, you will drive performance, implement strategic sales initiatives, and ensure every customer enjoys a professional and memorable buying experience. You will combine hands-on leadership with team development and performance monitoring, inspiring your team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the car sales department.
  • Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, ensuring the team meets or exceeds them.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and motivate sales team members.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, lead conversion, and customer feedback.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality customer service across the team.
  • Manage vehicle pricing strategies in coordination with management.
  • Collaborate with marketing to support lead generation and enhance brand visibility.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work with purchasing to maintain optimal stock.
  • Resolve escalated customer concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal/regulatory requirements.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in automotive sales, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and motivational skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, lead management, and sales reporting.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office; knowledge of automotive inventory systems is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish, Dutch, or Papiamento is an advantage.
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
