We are looking for a results-driven Sales Manager to lead our car sales team. In this role, you will drive performance, implement strategic sales initiatives, and ensure every customer enjoys a professional and memorable buying experience. You will combine hands-on leadership with team development and performance monitoring, inspiring your team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Main Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the car sales department.
Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, ensuring the team meets or exceeds them.
Recruit, train, coach, and motivate sales team members.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
Monitor and analyze sales performance, lead conversion, and customer feedback.
Ensure consistent, high-quality customer service across the team.
Manage vehicle pricing strategies in coordination with management.
Collaborate with marketing to support lead generation and enhance brand visibility.
Monitor inventory levels and work with purchasing to maintain optimal stock.
Resolve escalated customer concerns professionally and promptly.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal/regulatory requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in automotive sales, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong leadership, team-building, and motivational skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in CRM systems, lead management, and sales reporting.
Competent in Microsoft Office; knowledge of automotive inventory systems is a plus.
Fluent in English; Spanish, Dutch, or Papiamento is an advantage.
Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
