Civil Technician

To ensure success as a Technician, the candidate should have extensive working experience in this field, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work as part of a team. The ideal Technician is technically driven, capable to execute in an efficient way and is a great planner.

Key Responsibilities include:

Report to superior about progress and work activities.
Carry out preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis on civil infrastructure and buildings.
Carry out maintenance work at the civil infrastructure and buildings.
Logs and records executed work on a daily basis.
Liaise with supervisor for modifications, improvements, installations and commissioning work.
Comply with daily work schedule.
Efficient execution of maintenance activities.
Plan and prepare work activities according to instructions.
To perform other duty as may be assigned by supervisor.
Assist mechanical and electrical technicians when required.

Desired Skills, Knowledge and Ability:

Technical Degree (MTS) in Civil; Construction and /or 3 plus years of experience in a close related field.
Professional integrity and total commitment to outstanding customer service.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to successfully multi-task.
Self-motivated with an ability to thrive under pressure.
