We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to support and strengthen the organization's compliance framework. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring compliance risks, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations, advising management on compliance matters, and promoting ethical business practices throughout the organization. This role requires strong judgment, independence, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

Compliance Management & Risk Monitoring

  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures
  • Translate compliance requirements into operational controls and processes
  • Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective actions
  • Register, monitor, and report compliance incidents and potential risks
  • Advise management on compliance-related matters and regulatory developments

Regulatory Compliance & Reporting

  • Monitor changes in legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Assess the impact of new laws and regulations on business operations
  • Prepare compliance reports and regulatory submissions when required
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders
  • Support compliance audits, reviews, and monitoring activities

Policy Development & Training

  • Develop and update compliance policies, procedures, and internal guidelines
  • Promote awareness of compliance, ethics, and reputation-related risks throughout the organization
  • Conduct compliance training and awareness initiatives for employees
  • Ensure employees understand and adhere to compliance requirements
  • Support the implementation of compliance monitoring programs

Advisory & Continuous Improvement

  • Provide guidance on ethical business practices and compliance obligations
  • Support management in addressing compliance concerns and incidents
  • Evaluate existing controls and recommend process improvements
  • Assist with internal investigations and compliance assessments when necessary
  • Contribute to a culture of integrity, accountability, and regulatory compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Compliance, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a compliance-related role within a regulated environment
  • Professional compliance training or certification is considered an advantage
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, risk management, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience drafting policies, procedures, and compliance documentation
  • Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), sanctions compliance, and regulatory compliance principles is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and maintain objectivity in decision-making
