Customer Business Desk Officer

We are looking for a customer-focused and commercially driven professional for the position of Customer / Business Desk Officer in Bonaire. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, target-driven, and capable of managing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and identifying sales opportunities while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners.
  • Handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Provide accurate information and tailored solutions.
  • Achieve agreed sales targets and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Document customer interactions and contribute to service improvements.

Main Requirements:

  • Minimum Associate Degree in Banking & Insurance or equivalent.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a customer service or service desk role.
  • Basic knowledge of insurance products (Life, General, Health).
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English, Dutch, Spanish, and Papiamentu.
