Electrical Technician

The Electrical Technician works under the direction of Maintenance Supervisor to make sure equipment in their assigned area is kept in top running condition. Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical/mechanical systems, apparatus, and electrical components of machinery and equipment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical controls and instruments.
  • Work on voltage controls as well as circuits.
  • Maintain and install electrical equipment.
  • Complete electrical preventative maintenance activities.
  • Plan, prioritize and schedule electrical maintenance with supervision and operations input.
  • Repair and troubleshoot analog instrument loops.
  • Effectively use typical test and calibration equipment.
Job Requirements
  • Technical Degree (MTS) in Electrical; and /or 3 plus years of experience in a close related field.
  • Professional integrity and total commitment to outstanding customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to successfully multi-task.
