We are seeking an experienced and people-focused HR Manager to lead and execute human resources initiatives that support organizational growth and employee success. The ideal candidate will be responsible for talent management, employee engagement, compliance, organizational development, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This role requires a strategic thinker who can align HR practices with business objectives while maintaining a people-centered approach.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, development, retention, and offboarding
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems that align with organizational goals and legal requirements
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on workforce planning, employee relations, and succession planning
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment through effective communication and employee engagement initiatives
  • Manage and resolve employee relations matters with professionalism, fairness, and confidentiality
  • Coordinate performance appraisal processes and professional development programs
  • Design and implement training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and performance
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including contracts, leave administration, and benefits information
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices
  • Oversee compensation and benefits administration, including payroll coordination
  • Support organizational change initiatives and promote adaptability across teams
  • Coordinate health, safety, and wellness programs in collaboration with relevant departments
  • Manage internal HR communications to ensure transparency and alignment
  • Collaborate effectively with leadership teams and key stakeholders
  • Perform additional HR-related duties as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
  • Professional HR certification is considered an advantage
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR management or HR generalist role
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, labor regulations, and HR best practices
  • Experience in recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee relations
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR policies and programs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with HR information systems is an advantage
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in Dutch, English, and Papiamentu
