HR Specialist

The HR Specialist responsible for assisting with the management of all the HR operations and strategies within the company. The HR Specialist handles the day-to-day operations of the HR department and interaction with the company’s employees. He or she assists with the administration of the HR policies, processes, and programs. The HR Specialist has responsibilities in the following functional areas: departmental development, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relationships, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and customer services.
Job Responsibilities: 
  • Provide Orientation to all new employees. 
  • Execute Talent Retention program.  
  • Perform employees Round Tables. 
  • Administrate Suggestion Boxes and give an assertive answer to employee’s suggestions. 
  • Administrate “HR ON AIR” and Bulletin Boards/TV. 
  •  Coordinate Labor Satisfaction Program. 
  • Administrate Birthday and Seniority celebration Program. 
  • Receive (from Operations the requisition) and write employee warnings. 
  • Execute Ex-Paths Welcome Program. 
  • Keep track of foreign employees to see their immigration status, coordinate the authorization process to obtain their residency ID. Coordinate with the company lawyer to present all documents, legalize and deliver all papers to Immigration Offices. 
  • Run exit polls and keep track of inactive employees. 
  • Provide customer service that includes helping employees with doubts, complaints, problems and general questions via email or direct interaction with them, help solve conflicts between employees. 
  • Support and assist HR management in any process, project, or activity. 
  • Support HR management with policies and procedures of HR department. 
Job Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, preferably with emphasis in HR or related field. 
  • 2 years HR experience.
  • High proficiency in English, both written and oral.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; strong customer service orientation; outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to multi-task effectively; excellent judgment, maturity, and trustworthiness; independent project management.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet timelines on deliverables.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Self-starter, sense of urgency, works well under pressure, ability to work in high velocity environment.
