IT Specialist

We are looking for a proactive and solutions-oriented IT Specialist to support and optimize the organization's technology infrastructure and business systems. The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting technical issues, improving business processes, and helping users maximize the value of technology. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to system improvements, digital transformation initiatives, and the ongoing support of critical business applications.

Responsibilities

  • IT Support & Systems Administration
  • Provide day-to-day IT support to employees across the organization
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues
  • Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of IT systems and applications
  • Support users with technical inquiries and system-related challenges

Business Systems & ERP Support

  • Support the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of business systems and ERP platforms
  • Assist with system testing, upgrades, and software enhancements
  • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Support users during system implementations and technology changes

Process Improvement & Digital Transformation

  • Collaborate with departments to understand business needs and recommend technology solutions
  • Contribute to projects focused on operational efficiency and digital transformation
  • Help improve workflows through the effective use of technology
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization

Data Integrity & Business Continuity

  • Help ensure data accuracy and system reliability
  • Support business continuity and system recovery processes
  • Assist with maintaining documentation, procedures, and system records
  • Promote best practices for data management and system usage

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in IT support, systems support, or ERP environments is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 applications
  • Understanding of business processes such as inventory, procurement, sales, warehousing, or finance is a plus
  • Fluent in English and Papiamentu; Dutch is an advantage
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
