Manager Business Intelligence

As the Manager Business Intelligence you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the delivery of BI and reporting solutions enabling a variety of descriptive data use cases for your market/cluster. 
Key Accountabilities:
  • Manage the delivery of BI/reporting solutions for the market/cluster
  • Responsible for market/cluster specific strategic reporting
  • Generate insights based on market/cluster data
  • Hire, train, develop and retain BI Specialists and analysts in the market/cluster
  • Work with market/cluster commercial leaders on data needs
  • Monitor/Audit the use of data in your market/cluster
  • Deal with possible issues related to the market/cluster data
  • Adhere to the data governance policies and data glossary in place
  • Makes sure all reports created within the market/cluster adhere to the reporting development policies and standards
  • Identify and report any data governance issue within your market/cluster

Preferred education & qualification:
  • Master’s degree combined with at least 4 years of relevant experience or bachelor’s degree combined with at least 6 years of relevant experience or a Ph.D. Degree combined with at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Data governance certifications
  • knowledge & Experience:
  • Experience with data governance and data management
  • Basic data architecture knowledge
  • Expert analytical thinking and thought leadership
  • Experience with large data sets and knowledge of both structured and unstructured data
  • Ability to communicate analytical findings to management
  • Passion for data and innovation
  • Good understanding of Telco technology and knows how to leverage technology to achieve business / transformation objectives
  • Strong telco and digital experience
  • Sound understanding of Business Support Systems (BSS) and Telco OSS/BSS architecture

Skills & Abilities:
  • Experience in SQL & Python
  • Experience working in AWS data environments
  • Proficiency in Data Visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Strong leadership and people skills
  • High tolerance for ambiguity – Have the ability to operate with flexibility in an uncertain environment, with multiple demands and be able to assess and evaluate the range of options that should be considered
  • Have Backbone; Disagree and Commit – Challenge decisions when you disagree, even when doing so is uncomfortable or exhausting. Have conviction and be tenacious. Do not compromise for the sake of social cohesion, once a decision is reached, commit to it fully
