Responsibilities
Operations & Supply Chain Management
- Oversee daily operations, including warehouse management, inventory control, procurement, and distribution
- Ensure efficient storage, handling, and distribution of products in accordance with operational standards and regulatory requirements
- Monitor and optimize operational performance and service delivery
- Coordinate cross-functional operational activities to support business objectives
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop operational teams
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance work environment
- Support employee development and performance management initiatives
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and external partners
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth operational processes
- Support effective communication between departments and external service providers
Process Improvement & Performance Management
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operations, inventory, service levels, and efficiency
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement operational enhancements
- Develop initiatives to increase productivity and reduce operational costs
- Prepare operational reports and performance updates for management
Compliance, Budgeting & Administration
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Manage operational budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Support administrative and finance-related operational activities
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably within warehouse, distribution, logistics, or healthcare-related environments
- Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams
- Strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Financial acumen and experience managing operational budgets
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English, Dutch, and Papiamentu; Spanish is an advantage
