Payroll Adm Officer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and service-driven Payroll Administrator Officer who can independently manage payroll administration accurately and efficiently. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to handle payroll processes, client inquiries, and reporting with integrity and professionalism.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll administration, including receiving, checking, and booking working hours.
  • Communicate with temporary workers and clients to resolve discrepancies.
  • Check agreed hourly rates and apply corrections when necessary.
  • Prepare and send invoices according to schedule.
  • Submit monthly employee insurance updates and process required registration changes for social insurance contributions.
  • Track sick leave and disability-related payments (AO).
  • Support debtor management and small finance-related projects.
  • Maintain, digitalize, and manage employee files and documentation.
  • Prepare reports and contribute to efficiency improvement projects.
  • Maintain contact with external institutions; bank, tax office, advisors, etc.

Requirements:

  • Minimum MBO Level 4 diploma in Administration.
  • At least 1 year experience in a similar role.
  • Strong Excel skills (AFAS is a plus).
  • Analytical mindset and strong numerical insight.
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch, English, Spanish, and Papiamentu.
  • Client- and service-oriented attitude.
  • Able to plan, organize, and work efficiently under pressure.
