Payroll Consultant

We are looking for an experienced and driven Payroll Consultant to play a key role in delivering accurate, compliant, and seamless payroll operations across multiple Caribbean jurisdictions. This is an exciting opportunity for a payroll professional who brings strong expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for solving complex payroll matters while making a meaningful impact on employees and payroll operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Execute payroll processing activities and ensure timely salary payments.
  • Ensure accurate calculation and submission of payroll taxes, social insurance, and other statutory payments.
  • Perform multi-country payroll reconciliations, including payroll and General Ledger accounts.
  • Prepare payroll posting sheets and support cost allocation across countries, departments, and business units.
  • Manage billing and reconciliation related to expatriate payroll and employee expenses.
  • Perform specialized payroll calculations, including vacation payments, commissions, final pay, and other payroll adjustments.
  • Maintain payroll controls and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
  • Identify and report payroll discrepancies, incidents, and control issues.
  • Manage and resolve incoming payroll requests through the appropriate service management system.
  • Support continuous improvement of payroll processes and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 8–10 years of experience in payroll operations.
  • 5+ years of experience with multi-country or Caribbean payroll processing.
  • Degree in HR Management, Payroll Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Caribbean payroll legislation, tax regulations, and social insurance requirements.
  • Working knowledge of international tax treaties and expatriate payroll considerations.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential payroll information.
  • Strong understanding of payroll reconciliation and accounting processes.
