Quality Assurance Assistant

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Assistant. Within this position, you will conduct regular inspections and assessments on raw materials and end products and reports measurement results and deviations. Assist in maintaining the requirements of the FSSC 22000, ISO 9001 and Coca Cola (KORE) guidelines and legislation.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Responsible for the incoming inspections of materials
  • Verify the quality of the products with the help of parameters like weight, texture, and other physical properties of the company
  • Responsible for the documentation of inspection and tests conducted on products of a company
  • Assure that the plant has formally documented programs or procedures that address all applicable standards
  • Assist in maintaining the Integrated Management System
  • Carry out instructions given by Quality Control Manager and Management System Coordinator
  • Ensure established Prerequisite Programs (PRPs) pertaining to operation of the plant is maintained
  • Ensures Good Manufacturing Practices and Personnel Practices are maintained
  • Assist in training personnel in specific job tasks for food safety and quality
  • Report any food safety and quality related issues to the food safety team immediately
  • Maintain clean work area following housekeeping and GMP guidelines

Requirements

  • Minimum technical secondary vocational education ? Minimum 2 years work experience in a laboratory.
  • Understanding of Integrated Management Systems – FSSC 22000, ISO 9001.
  • Trained in Applicable Work Procedures: Quality, Food Safety, Work safety practices and specific job task.
  • Skills: Precision, Results oriented
  • Computer Literacy (Microsoft office)
