Registration Officer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Registration Officer to support daily administrative and transaction processing activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, performing reconciliations, monitoring transaction data, and ensuring compliance with operational procedures. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Registration & Transaction Processing

  • Register and verify deposit and transaction information in designated tracking systems
  • Verify received documentation and transaction records for accuracy and completeness
  • Monitor and record transaction activities according to established procedures
  • Identify and report discrepancies or irregularities promptly
  • Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner

Reconciliation & Reporting

  • Perform daily balancing and reconciliation of transactions
  • Prepare transaction summaries, reports, and balance sheets
  • Verify that reconciled items are properly authorized and documented
  • Prepare and maintain operational and management reports
  • Monitor transaction data and provide accurate reporting to management

Administrative Support

  • Review invoices and supporting documentation for processing
  • Maintain organized filing systems and records
  • Manage office and departmental administrative tasks
  • Coordinate and follow up on discrepancies with relevant stakeholders
  • Assist with inventory and office supply management when required

Compliance & Operational Support

  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and operational policies
  • Support unusual transaction reporting and monitoring activities
  • Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information
  • Support operational teams with additional administrative and processing tasks
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the role

Requirements

  • SBO diploma or equivalent, preferably with accounting or bookkeeping knowledge
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an administrative or operational support role
  • Basic knowledge of English, Dutch, Spanish, and Papiamentu
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
