Retail Marketing Coordinator -1

The Retail Marketing Coordinator is involved in developing and executing the organizations's retail marketing efforts. This role is responsible for managing in-store and print marketing, visual merchandising, as well as digital marketing and social media for the retail stores. Some key aspects in this role are completing successful campaigns from beginning to end, working closely with the marketing manager, as well as interacting with the sales team, design team, and senior management to analyze and track KPIs related to marketing and sales growth. 

Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for development and execution of marketing and advertising strategies, plans and objectives for all stores under management to drive incremental sales
  • Work closely with merchandise and sales teams to ensure marketing plans support key product stories for all brands and deliver against shared business goals measured through KPIs
  • Handles communications and PR with marketing partners locally in terms of events, social media campaigns, branding assets, influencers, printing, etc.
  • Propose, present and track a marketing budget for the year in retail, including all stores. This will include, but is not limited to budget tracking, marketing program recaps as well as presentation development
  • Help with the execution of brand unity in retail industry, meaning that digital and physical presence is interconnected and consistent across all retail stores and websites in order to drive traffic to the stores
  • Responsible for content creation for existing social media channels and evaluating new social channels as well to drive traffic and/or increase brand awareness
  • Represent the company and its brands wherever the job takes you.

 

Job Specifications & Requirements:

  • 2 years of marketing experience is highly desired in the retail and/or wholesale industries, ideally in the footwear industry
  • Must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing capacity or equivalent experience in the industry is accepted
  • 1-2 years of experience in e-commerce marketing is highly appreciated, but not required
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Proficiency in Canva and/or Photoshop highly appreciated
  • Must have own means of transportation
  • Must be able to work flexible hours
