Retail Store Supervisor

We’re in search of a motivated and dedicated Store Supervisor to oversee the sales team and assist the store manager with day-to-day store operations such as opening and closing of the shop, conduct weekly and monthly inventories and ensuring overall orderliness and cleanliness of the store.
Store Supervisor duties include:
  • Support the Store Manager with training and coaching the sales team.
  • Assisting customers by recommending the right products.
  • Encourages and supports store staff in meeting sales, product knowledge, customer service and stocking objectives.
  • Work with the team to create visually and innovative displays to showcase the variety of tile and bathroom products available.
  • Monitor and maintain the overall visual presentation of the store to ensure it aligns with the company’s image.
  • Streamline and optimize store processes to enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Creates a positive store image through adherence to company policies and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained, creating a welcoming and
  • informative environment for customers and store team members.
  • Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, concerns and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and maintain inventory control records.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
  • High school-level understanding of mathematics or higher.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Eagerness to learn about new home improvement products and services.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a retail setting, preferably in the home improvement industry.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Experience with inventory management and basic sales techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Secondary language French and/or Spanish preferred.
