To develop and execute marketing strategies for all brands and to drive brand awareness, customer perception and customer traffic while maintaining a positive Corporate Image.
Principal Accountability:
Increases sales through advertising support and analysis of marketing impact in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones
Develops, implements and executes the marketing objectives, strategies and plans for all lines of business and prepares and manages supporting budgets and promotional plans to increase store traffic and sales
Develops, implements and executes advertising campaigns, new product launches, store launches, promotions, Point of Purchase (POP) and Point of Sale (POS) materials and other marketing activities alongside sales and Advertising & Promotion (A&P) budgets
Leads the development and approvals of all creative advertising in line with current regulations
Monitors competitor activity and analyzes marketing impact
Prepares post campaign reports, analysis and measurements on all promotional events and spend ROI
Identifies and negotiates key sponsorship and advertising opportunities - plans negotiations and determines the most appropriate medium to advertise products and services at the best cost to the company
Manages the performance of the marketing team to ensure that departmental goals are met; engages in staff training, discipline and motivating, and directs duties accordingly
Prepares all Marketing Briefs and Return of Investment proposals prior to each Campaign for approval by Commercial Director
Performs any other duties requested by the Commercial Director
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business Management/Administration and/or related discipline
Three (3) to five (5) years managerial experience in a Marketing Department for a medium to large organization with two (2) years of experience in event planning and corporate communications
