We are looking for an experienced Underwriting Officer who excels in risk assessment and decision-making. In this role, you will evaluate insurance and reinsurance applications, assess risks, and contribute to the development of sound, competitive underwriting solutions while ensuring compliance with guidelines and regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
Assess individual and group insurance risks and determine appropriate terms and premiums.
Review underwriting documentation and ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations.
Draft and maintain accurate policy conditions and underwriting records.
Monitor risk portfolios and identify trends or potential risk issues.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on policy and premium processing.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in underwriting.
Strong analytical skills with proven risk assessment expertise.
Solid knowledge of underwriting regulations, insurance policies, and reinsurance principles.
